Code of Ethics
Ethics and corporate responsibility, far from being a fad, have become one of the structural underpinnings of successful business management. They are not a passing fad but a movement that has taken root and now affects every management decision. In strategic global markets, where Thales conducts its business, ethical conduct is of particular importance.
With a view to constantly improving its performance in terms of health, safety, and risk prevention, thanks to a network of “Health and Safety site/operations” coordinators in each country and entity, Thales has put in place a global organisation to ensure deployment of prevention measures on sites (exposure and protection of employees, risk analysis and implementation of avoidance and tailored protection measures, etc.) and in the context of operations carried out (industrial processes, substances, external sites, etc.).
Giving back to the community is a corporate social responsibility and a privilege. Through monetary donations, community outreach, and other charitable activities, Thales Defense & Security, Inc. supported the following organizations and events in 2018:
- Teen Parent Connection
- One Heart for Women and Children
- National MS Society Walk
- Warrior Canine Connection
- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
- Tour de Frederick, LLC
We are fair and professional in all our business dealings. We honor our commitments to our business partners. We select suppliers and subcontractors who will adhere to our ethical standards and commitment to high-quality products and services.
