CAPTAS-1, CAPTAS-2, and CAPTAS-4
Combined Active and Passive Towed Array Sonar (CAPTAS) is a key sensor technology for identifying submarines operating in difficult sonar environments such as littoral waters. The CAPTAS family offers a range of performance levels, providing solutions for the full spectrum of naval requirements and ship sizes.
The CAPTAS is available in one, two and four free-flooded ring models: CAPTAS-1, 2 and 4 respectively as needed to meet mission requirements in various operating environments.
The CAPTAS-4 Transmitter was selected by the US Navy to meet the ASW Escort Mission Requirement.
