Aaron Brosnan
President, Tampa Microwave
Aaron Brosnan is the president of Tampa Microwave, a Thales company. He is responsible for all day-to-day business operations, customer commitments, strategic business direction and growth.
Prior to joining Tampa Microwave, Mr. Brosnan worked at Thales Defense & Security, Inc. (TDSI) for 15 years, where he served as vice president of the Communication Systems business unit. In that role, Mr. Brosnan was responsible for all tactical and satellite communications, and electronic warfare business with the US DoD and export markets. He also performed as TDSI’s vice president of business development, where he was responsible for leading new business initiatives in the areas of tactical and satellite communications systems, electronic warfare solutions, ground tactical vehicular and command post communications systems, and power and accessories solutions. Furthermore, Mr. Brosnan held senior management roles (in both engineering and business development) at Sanmina-SCI and Raytheon Systems.
Mr. Brosnan is a decorated veteran of the US Navy, where he served as a naval flight officer. Mr. Brosnan’s awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He graduated with honors from the US Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering. He went on to earn a master’s degree in engineering management from George Washington University.
