Depot Level Support

Thales Defense & Security, Inc. (TDSI) has maintained a public private partnership with Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) since 2015.   FRCSE’s achievement of depot-level status to repair and maintain the Navy’s Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) system has been a great success.  The AN/AQS-22 depot-level repairs are the most complex and intensive level of work performed, involving repair of the ALFS’ advanced sonar parts and subassemblies.

TDSI will be partnering with Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) at Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) starting in 2019.   FRCSW will be the depot-level center of excellence for the USMC’s H1 Optimized Top Owl (OTO) Helmet-Mounted Display System.  The OTO depot will be repairing advanced optical parts and subassemblies.

Warehousing and Third Party Logistics (3PL) Network

In compliance with 2017 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Section 883 Implementation Guidance, Thales Defense & Security, Inc. (TDSI) is partnering with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in performing remote warehouse management at DLA distribution sites and network.  This third part logistics innovation will utilize USG warehousing facilities and expands TDSI logistics network which will benefit the industry and the U.S. Coast Guard.
